Once a Creeker, Always a Creeker! For those who’ve ever attended Up the Creek Weekend music festival will be able to relate to this statement. For those who’ve never been, well….
Up the Creek is a four-day music festival on a farm that is situated next to the Breede River in the Western Cape that is a yearly tradition for many. Earlier this year thousands of people made their way to the river and enjoyed the 30 year reunion.
With Lockdown crippling the entertainment industry the Up the Creek Relief festival was born to raise funds and provide financial relief to artists.
There’s no room like the Jägermeister Zoom room. With Zoom also providing an interactive experience we were able to join Nick Hammon in his conversation. Some “festivalgoers” were sitting outside enjoying drinks by the fire and others enjoyed the show in the comfort of their living room.
The line up included a variety of artists that entertained us for 7 hours. The sale of raffle tickets was a great way to raise more funds for the cause and the winners won amazing prizes. Below is a summary of the show as well as the announcement of the raffle competition winners. A big congratulations to those winning these awesome prizes!
Below is a video of what you’ve missed out on!
Have you ever been to Up the Creek? If not and you do find yourself in the vicinity I highly recommend that you buy your tickets! This is not just a festival for millennials also for those who rocked the pre 90’s generation!
